Qatalum is a primary aluminium smelter with a production capacity of 625,000 tonnes of high-quality primary aluminium products per annum. Located approximately 50 km South of Doha the site includes a port, carbon plan, twin 1.2 kilometer potlines, storage facilities, and a captive power plant. Qatalum is ISO 9001 certified and is a listed brand on the London Metals Exchange, and has received ISO /TS 16949 certification for its casthouse.
